Document Description
the scope of work for the project includes: (1) Embankment widening to provide a six (6)-foot-wide unpaved area north of and adjacent to State Route 120 in the vicinity of the culvert; (2) Replacing the existing rock and culvert with a four (4)-foot-wide by two (2)-foot-high reinforced concrete box culvert. Culvert replacement work would include excavation to remove the existing culvert and headwalls; installing the new culvert; backfilling around the culvert; and replacing asphalt concrete and highway striping. The new culvert would be approximately 40 feet long; (3) Installing rock slope protection (RSP) and RSP fabric at the outlet of the new culvert (on the westbound side of the highway), to protect the drainage channel; and (4) Minor clearing and grubbing to remove and/or relocate vegetation near culvert inlet and outlet, including several rose plants. An oak tree near the project site would not be disturbed.
