Document Description
The project involves (1) constructing a new 111-ft long gabion wall and a 50-ft long gabion wall to replace an existing 75-ft long temporary gabion wall on the outside of the bend along the south bank of the creek; (2) repairing and modifying a 15-ft section at the downstream end of an existing stacked rock wall at the upstream end of the bend on the north bank; (3) installing five rock chains across the stream channel adjacent to the gabion wall to create and stabilize instream habitat; and (4) grading and recontouring the north bank of the creek to create flood terraces along the inside of the bend.
