Document Description
The project will be limited to: 1) removing approximately 12 cubic yards of material trapped upstream under a pipeline, and placing the removed material within the voids of the riprap; 2) excavating an approximately 2-foot deep toe trench by hand along the pipeline; 3) installing geotextile fabric and approximately 20 cubic yards of 4 to 15-inch loose rock riprap for pipeline stabilization and protection. The footprint of the rock riprap will taper from the top of the pipeline to match the invert of the streambed and will extend 5 feet above the pipeline and 5 feet below.
Kohler Creek Crossing - The project will be limited to: 1) installing goetextile fabric and approximately 80 cubic yards of 4 to 15-inch loose rock riprap; 2) excavating an approximately 2-foot-deep toe trench and placing the excavated material within the riprap to fill voids; and 3) hydroseeding the exposed soils at the completion of the project.
