Document Description
Potholing is proposed to verify the alignment of the existing levee cutoff wall. Up to six 10-foot holes may be drilled to locate each side of the existing cutoff wall. Once the ends of the cutoff walls are located, the exploratory holes will be drilled to a depth of 50 feet and examined with video cameras. The holes will be backfilled with a controlled lo strength grout. The surface will be restored with a cold asphalt patch on paved surfaces and soil on non-paved surfaces. drilling will take place in July or August of this year during daylight hours for approximately 2 weeks.
