Document Description
The Department of Water Resources, Water Use and Efficiency Branch (Department), is adopting regulations (Title 23, Division 2, Chapter 5.1, Article 2, Sections 597, 597.1, 597.2, 597.3 and 597.4) as required by California Water Code section 10608.48(i)(1), which requires the Department to adopt regulations that provide for a range of options that agricultural water suppliers may use or implement to comply with the measurement requriements in subdivision (b0(1) of section 10608.48. The regulation is necessary to provide information to agricultural water suppliers to meet the intent of Water Code section 10608.48 and to implement the requirements of Water Code sections 10608.48(b) and 531.10, which are meant to assist water suppliers to comply with section 10608.48(d).
