Document Description
The project is limited to stabilization of a submarine sanitary sewer outfall/differuser and repair of in-water manhole access structures. To stabilize the outfall, approximately 75 linear feet (50 cubic yards) of 6- to 12-inch-diameter crushed ballast rock will be placed around the diffuser (the portion of the pipe that rests on the channel bed). Repair of the in-water manhole access structures will consist of removal of the deteriorating grits, planking, joists, braces, ladders and hardware that make up the support structure for the manholes, and replacement of these structural elements with fiberglass replacement parts. The existing piles will be utilized, and no new piles will be driven. Issuance of Streambed Alterations Agreement Number 1600-2011-0431-03 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
