Work performed regularly (i.e., every one to five years) in the stream zones associated with bridges and culverts identified in the Notification. Work includes the following: removing debris, sediment, vegetation, rubbish, downed trees, and other material that could obstruct the natural flow; controlling weeds, grasses, emergent vegetation, and woody vegetation; repairing gates, barricades, and small structures; making repairs to control erosion and stablize banks; and other work necessary to maintain the fuctional and structural integrity of waterways; minor repair and maintenance of bridges.
