Sacramento Suburban Water District (District) Well 84 Antelope/Don Julio (Well 84 Project) Addendum to the 2017 Barrett Ranch East Final Environmental Impact Report (2017 FEIR).
The Well 84 Project consists of the construction of water supply facilities (e.g., one groundwater supply well and associated above ground well equipment
improvements/components) to serve as a potable water supply source for the District’s North Service Area. The Well 84 Project components would include the groundwater supply well; well head and associated mechanical equipment; a building to house mechanical, electrical, and disinfection equipment; natural gas generator; concrete masonry unit block perimeter wall and/or metal fencing; and if required for water treatment, a groundwater treatment system and backwash settling tank. The well would be approximately 600-feet deep with an 18-inch well casing and is anticipated to produce between approximately 1,500 and 2,000 gallons per minute (GPM) of water. The final well design would be based on actual conditions at the site as identified during drilling operations.
