Caltrans proposes to reduce rockfall at six slopes along U.S. 395 north of Lee Vining in Mono County. The proposed project begins at post mile 52.3 and ends at post mile 53.7. The main purpose of the project is to improve safety for the traveling public and maintenance personnel by reducing rockfall from the existing steep slopes between these post miles.
