- The project is limited to the replacement of an existing sewer line and improvements to the degraded structure of the existing sanitary sewer main. Project activities including replacing a section of the six-inch vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewer main with an eight-inch sanitary sewer main, provide slope stabilization in areas where active landslide are present by installing retaining walls and repairing existing retaining walls, and prevent further erosion by modifying storm drainage and extending the outfalls onto dissipaters near the creek. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, Number 1600-2012-0456-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Permitee, City of San Mateo.
