The Alameda County Resource Conservation District will implement climate-resilient management strategies, water-related Best Management Practices (BMPs), and a sustainable grazing operation on 6,260 acres of land in the Sunol Regional Wilderness Area in Alameda County. The proposed BMPs focus on the installation, improvement, and/or reconstruction of livestock watering facilities, including springs and stock ponds. The pond restoration project is within the scope of the Alameda County Voluntary Local Program.
