Document Description
The 2012 Draft Housing Element is an update of the County's' State-certified Housing Element that was adopted initially in November 1991, readopted with the Countywide Plan Update in January 1994, updated in June 2003, and then readopted with the Countywide Plan Update in November 2007. The 2012 Draft Housing Element addresses the requirements of California Government Code 65583, for the planning period from 2007 to 2014. The 2012 Draft Housing element consist of several main sections, each of which addresses a major subject area, including a review of constraints on housing development, an inventory of potential housing sites, and a set of policies and programs to support housing at all income levels.
