Document Description
Yokayo Biofuels, Inc. is recommended for a $1,860,330.00 grant under the California Energy Commission's Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program solicitation PON-11-601 to fund the expansion and conversion of a biodiesel production plant in unincorporated Mendocino County near the city of Ukiah. The grantee proposes to update and expand their biodiesel production process by constructing new production, laboratory, and storage facilities. Project includes, but is not limited to, installation of three pipelines, removal of an existing structure, HVAC upgrades, fire prevention/safety upgrades, bioswale installation, resurfacing of the onsite hardtop, and improvements to the existing driveway. The project is located on an existing industrial site that is fully developed and that is surrounded by industrial uses and agricultural operations.
