Document Description
The LCTC, as the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA), is required by CA law to adopt and submit an updated Regional Transportation Plan to the CA Transportation Commission (CTC) and to the CA Department of Transportation every five years. The purpose of the RTP is to provide a vision of transportation facilities and services for the region, supported by transportation projects and/or new facilities. Rather, it identifies necessary improvements in order to provide the best possible circulation/transportation system to meet the mobility and access needs of the entire region.
