Document Description
The project consists of construction and operation of an elementary charter school for 500 students in pre-K through sixth grade. Two existing charter elementary schools would combine and transfer to the proposed new school. The new 52,109-sf school would include 21 classrooms in three contiguous buildings. The school buildings are designed in a square along the periphery of site around a 23,000 sf interior courtyard with play area. A second play area would be between the Main Street entry plaza and the surface parking lot. The project would provide 198 parking spaces on campus, including a 61,880 sf underground parking garage below the main campus with access off Woodland Avenue, and a 13,000 sf surface parking lot with access off Main Street.
