The proposed project will design and construct a new gymnasium on the CSUSM campus. The new gymnasium will be approximately 26,400 SF in size and include uses such as a basketball court, locker rooms, coach's offices, bleacher seats, a box office, restrooms, storage areas, and a concession stand. The gymnasium will be able to accommodate a maximum event capacity of 1,600 spectators through the use of bleacher seating (1,400 acres) and chairs set up on the basketball court.
