Document Description
The Project, as approved by the CDFW consists of the ITP, Minor Amendment No. 1, Minor Amendment No. 2, Minor Amendment No.3 and this Minor Amendment No. 4, as referenced above and as issued by CDFW which involves realigning the 0.4 mile section of Sr 25 to current design standards by replacing the nonstandard curve with a 2,000-foot radius curve, installation of two driveway exits for landowners on either side of SR 25 as well as access to a stockpile area in the current turn-out. The remaining 24,790 square feet (0.569 acres) of the previous alignment will be rehabilitated to allow for revegation with oak trees. The project will result in the permanent development of 0.86 acres and temporary impacts to 0.87 acres of upland habitat for California tiger salamander. The project is expected to result in incidental take of CTS which is designated as a threatened species under the Calfiornia Endangered Species Act. Amendment No. 4 referenced above as issued by CDFW, authorizes the extension of teh ITP expiration for an additional 10 year period changing the expiration date from Oct 31, 2018 to Oct, 31 2028.
