Document Description
The project involves the issuance of a Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (Permit) for the D/K Environmental (DKE) Hazardous Waste Transfer and Storage Facility by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), as authorized by the California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, and the Resources, Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). In January 2011, DKE submitted its permit request to continue its hazardous waste storage and transfer activities. Upon issuance of a RCRA permit, DKE will become a RCRA Permitted Facility for transfer and storage activities for RCRA, and California Regulated Wastes received from off-site generators. No treatment, disposal, and recycling of hazardous waste will be performed at the facility.
