Document Description
The issuance of a Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (Permit) for the D/K Environmental (DKE) Hazardous Waste Transfer and Storage Facility by the DTSC, as authorized by the CA Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5, and the Resource, Conservation and Recovery Act. In January 2011, DKE submitted its permit request to continue its hazardous waste storage and transfer activities. Upon issuance of a RCRA permit, DKE will become a RCRA Permitted Facility for transfer and storage activities for RCRA, and CA regulated waste received from off-site generators. Treatment, disposal, and recycling of hazardous wastes will not be performed at the site or at off-site units.
