Document Description
Boulders would be removed from a Conservancy-owned urban lot for use on various habitat restoration and land management projects. Salvaging activities would include the use of low-impact equipment for moving the boulders and placing them in a truck for transportation. Best management practices such as wattles and steel plates would be used to reduce any potential impacts to water quality or vegetation, and any minor soil disturbance caused by the salvage effort would be restored immediately following the activities. The boulders reside within a recent project area that has received a full CEQA analysis, and no biologically or culturally significant resources have been identified within the boulder area.
