Document Description
The proposal is for a new Coastal Development Permit for the City Half Moon Bay to continue the practice of mowing adjacent to coastal resources on an ongoing, annual basis. The City's Weed Abatement Program represents a list of parcels, conditions, and procedures for the safe annual mowing of weeds and vegetation located upon parcels where a potential threat to habitat exists. The project is designed to eliminate/minimize impacts to coastal resources while allowing the City to adequately protect the health, safety and welfare by reducing potential fire and safety hazards.
