- Document Description
- The project consists of placing PG&E clean fill sand bags over an exposed gas pipe line and the surrounding creek bank to protect the pipe and stabilize the upstream and downstream bank to prevent further erosion. The exposed segment of pipe is along the right descending bank of Petroleum Creek and is approximately 14 feet long. PG&E will stack the bags over the gas line affecting approximately 280 square feet of creek bed and bank (14 feet wide by 20 feet long). The bags will be centered over the gas line and will be a maximum height of 48 inches. The bags will gradually slope down to the creek grade on both the upstream and downstream sides of the gas line.
