- Project consists of the installation of a 30-foot tall weather station tower at the west end of the Colorado Desert District Headquarters complex in Borrego Springs, CA (Anza-Borrego Desert State Park). The weather station will provide further information than what is currently available and will provide it in real time data that is accessible from the internet. The current weather data isn't sufficient to accurately measure wind speed and process incoming data. A small portion of a 34-foot diameter circle will be disturbed by the installation of a concrete base in a hole that is dug to 3 feet x 3 feet x 4 feet deep and by the installation of three concrete anchors along the circumference of the circle that are 2'x2'x2'.
