- The Lake Davis Recreation area is a popular location in Eastern Plumas County. It is a very important to the economy of Portola and the County. The primary use of the Kiosk is parking, fishing access, interpretive information, and toilet facilities. This area is also a trailhead for the new Lake Davis Trail designated for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
