Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is the lead agency. The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Valley Ford Water Association proposes to conduct a feasibility study to investigate nitrate remediation alternatives. The proposed scope includees a test well and hydrogeologic assessment, environmental documentation, an engineering report, preparation of plans and specifications, coastal and conditional use permitting and application processes, and right-or-way negotiations. The County of Sonoma will act as CEQA lead agency for evaluation of the resulting proposed construction project.
