The Central Valley Water Board has prescribed waste discharge requirements (WDRs) that will allow the El Dorado Irrigation District to discharge treated wastewater from its Camino Heights Wastewater Treatment Facility to a 4.4 acre spray field and a 1.5 acre subsurface drip irrigation field. The discharge was previously regulated under WDRs issued in 2001.
