Document Description
The proposed work consists of conducting a test drill, approximately 3" to 6" diameter, into an existing concrete caisson that supports the Upper Feeder Pipeline a the Santa Ana River Bridge Crossing. The work requires removing a 3" by 6" area of non-native vegetation adjacent to the pipeline pier and drilling into the buried caisson. The work would allow project team to verify the feasibility of proposed drilling methods for final construciton.
