Document Description
Based on the results of an aeronautical study and a safety inspection performed by the Caltrans Division of Aeronautics, several trees on and adjacent to the Nut Tree Airport were identified as obstructions to navigable airspace. Other trees were identified that would soon become obstructions. To comply with direction from the Division of Aeronautics, Solano County proposes to remove mature trees on approximately 7 acres on and adjacent to the western Airport boundary to improve safety at the airport. The trees to be removed include a eucalyptus grove and cypress windrows. Off-site mitigation will be provided in accordance the requirements set forth by the CDFG.
