Document Description
The project includes constructing an 80-foot-tall, self-supporting communications tower, equipment vault, and appurtenant facilities on the Truckee Area Office parcel; installing a 30- to 35-foot tall pole with passive microwave reflectors in the Interstate 80 right-of-way, and acquiring a 0.09-acre parcel immediately south of the Area Office parcel. The new facility would be designed to meet California Building Code Title 24 standards including Essential Service requirements. Upon completion of construction, two existing towers at the Arena Office would be removed.
