Document Description
POM Wonderful, LLC proposes to expand its whole fruit and juice extraction activities at its plant located at 5286 South Del Rey Avenue in Del Rey, Fresno County. Expansion will include an increase in pomegranate fruit production resulting in an increase of wastewater, construction of up to two wastewater storage ponds (total of 18 acres in size), planting up to 291 acres with alfalfa to receive wastewater for irrigation, and constructing a new building (37,180 sf) for existing arils processing (recovery of pomegranate seeds for retail instead of sending to waste streams).
