CUP Application No. C-12-113 was filed by Raul Gonzalez, City of Fresno Department of Public Utilities/Wastewater Management Division, and the project pertains to 5.28 acres of property at the Fresno Clovis Regional Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation Facility located on the south side of West Jensen Avenue, west of South Cornelia Avenue. The applicant proposes the construction of a tertiary treatment and disinfection facility (capacity up to 30 mgd) at the wastewater treatment plant. When completed, the project will provide high quality recycled water for landscape irrigation and various other commercial and industrial purposes. The property is planned for public facility and is zoned AE-5/UGM (Exclusive Five Acre Agricultural/Urban Growth Management).
