- The Quartz Hill Water District, is proposing to construct a new Operations Center & Maintenance Facility. The 31,194 sf, 2-story building will include "Operations Center" functions consisting of the following uses: administrative-related services, a "Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System", and a water quality testing lab. According to the Applicant the "Maintenance Facility" will consist of the following uses: water equipment repair shop, and equipment and materials storage-some indoor, some outdoor, depending on the material and ability to withstand exposure to weather and air quality.
