Document Description
As part of the implementation of the 2008-2014 Housing Element Update, the city adopted amendments to its General Plan and Development Code to establish a new multiple-family zoning district and designate adequate sites that could accommodate new multiple-family development, at a density of 30 dwelling units per acre by-right, in order to satisfy the City's Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) obligation to accommodate the development of 490 lower-income dwelling units.
