Site Development Permit 09-16-4965 for the "Copperleaf" development is a request to develop Planning Area R7 within the South Planning Area of the Portola Center Area Plan (Area Plan 2008-01) with 233 attached multi-family condominium dwelling units and associated improvements, including fencing and paving. The project is to encompass 35 three-story buildings with each building having between five and eight units and exhibiting one of three different architectural styles: Old Santa Barbara, Italianate, and Spanish Revival. Each unit will include a two-car garage and will be between two and four bedrooms. In total 658 parking spaces are required and the applicant is providing 659 parking spaces, including 466 enclosed garage stalls, 145 on-site resident spaces, and 48 guest parking spaces, one more guest parking space than required.
