- The project is limited to the restoration of 4.66 acres along Big Tujunga Wash within the 10-acre property owned by the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA). MRCA proposes restoration activities involving non-native plant removal, concrete removal, and native plant establishment. Non-native removal methods shall range from hand pulling, use of an excavator for large root balls, and herbicide applications.
