Document Description
The County will identify abandoned wells that may act as conduits for contaminants to enter and adversely impact groundwater aquifers. The County will inventory and rank abandoned wells for destruction. Priority wells will be destroyed in partnership with local agencies and landowners. Wells will be destroyed by a licensed well driller in accordance with state and local requirements.
