Document Description
RCRCD is establishing an in-lieu fee program for the benefit of the Santa Ana, San Jacinto, Temescal and other associtated waterways in the Santa Ana watershed, which is in the western portion of Riverside County, California and in portions of San Bernardino County. The Project is established pursuant to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 33 C.F.R. Part 332 for the purpose of offsetting environmetnal losses resulting from unavoidable impacts to waters of the United Staes due to permitted activities, and may also be used to offset environmental losses resulting from unavoidable impacts related to regulated activities by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board.
