Mastication will not occur on this section. Slash will be treated by chipper from existing road surfaces. Within the project areas, equipment exlusion zones (EEZ) for rare plants and sensitive infrastructure have been identified and flagged; inside of thwich only hand cres utilizing chainsaws will be permitted to operated. All slash within the EEZ shall be transported outside the EEZ and treated by chipper. Wood chips shall be "broadcast" back on-site. The project is approximately 44 acres.
