Document Description
The City of Hermosa Beach is propsoing to perform structural repairs to the 48 year old Hermosa Beach Municipal Pier. The work consists of repair of six badly spalled concrete piles which inflicted severe damage and are no longer capable of supporting the pile cap and deck above. The repairs include in-water hydro-blast cleaning, installation of new fiberglass jackets or steel casings and injection of underwater grout. The replacement of one concrete deck panel which was severely damaged due to an accidental overloading is also part of this work.
