Document Description
This project for conducting a geotechnical investigation is an important component of the proposed California HST Program. The purpose of the project is to collect geotechnical data to support preliminary design of HST trackway features along the Merced to Fresno Section of the California HST Project, including at-grade trackway, viaducts, bridges, local road crossings, earth embankments, and retaining walls. Data collection consists of conducting exploratory soil boring and cone penetrating test (CPT) sounding within public ROWs.
