Document Description
Re-landscape the main entrance to the Hearst Castle Visitor Center in Hearst San Simeon State Park to remove diseased, invasive, non-historic, myoporum shrubs and replace them with drought tolerant plants to more effectively screen a lift station and improve aesthetics adjacent to the State Historic Monument sign. Along the south side of Hearst Castle Rd where it intersects Highway 1, work will remove up to nine (9) existing myoporum clumps and replace them with drought tolerant deer grass, wynabbie gems, and showy honey-myrtles in an existing four hundred and forty (440) square yard landscaped area. Additional work will extend the existing drip irrigation system throughout the landscaped area.
