- The purposes of the project is for the repair and maintenance of an existing facility located on the grounds of Folsom State Prison. The facility formerly operated as the Folsom Transitional Treatment Facility and has most recently been used for emergency response training and Strategic Offender Management Systems training for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) employee. To meet current state fire code and American Disability Act (ADA) requirements, CDCR will conduct special repairs and improvements to the facility. All work will take place within the existing secure fence of the facility. Most of the work is inside the facility with some minor exterior work within the secure perimeter in order to meet ADA requirements for path of travel. No trenching or removal of vegetation is involved with the project.
