- Document Description
- The proposed project would study potential water quality impacts at each stage of a hypothetical CO2 leak, from the leaching of organic from the storage quifer and along the leakage pathway to the release of metals from shallow quifer sediment, as well as the transport of impacted water to the surface. The researcheers are proposing to use materials from existing geologic carbon sequestration projects in California, and/or from new borehole samples.
