Document Description
The UC San Diego campus proposes to renovate approximately 30,000 gross square-feet of space in Gabraith space for other academic programs. The primary project objectives are to renovate vacated space in Gabraith Hall resulting from operatonal consolidation; provide additional instructional space for large lecture (approximately 420 seats); provide study space in the Revelee College area; and alleviate some of the academic and administrative space constraints in select departments. The project would also include facilities renewal and deferred maintenance work, such as providing appropriate fire separations in select areas of Galbraith Hall and installing metal handrails at all exterior stairs to meet accessiblilty requirements.
