Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
S:15282,15303,15301
Reasons for Exemption
Existing water supply has high arsenic, iron, and antimony. The proposed water line and laterals will be constructed in areas already disturbed and/or in existing road of ways. The consolidation with LHUD will only include the school parcel. The surrounding properties are large agricultural parcels and are not anticipated for growth. This project will remedy a water quality problem and provide a reliable water source.
