Document Description
The Project proposes to remove and recoat a 65,000 gallon firewater reservoir tank located at The Metropolitan Water District headquarters. Project components include 1) installing a standby emergency pumping equipment; 2) sandblasting and removing an existing waterproof coating; 3) performing leak repairs; 4) recoating the interior reservoir tank as required by the City of Los Angeles Building and Fire Department; and 5) any other associated work described in the contract documents. The water tank repairs are to improve safety, operational efficiency, and comply with city fire codes.
