Document Description
The Project proposes to remove and recoat a 65,000 gallon firewater reservoir tank located at The Metropolitan Water District headquarters. Project components include 1) installing a standby emergency pumping equipment; 2) sandblasting and removing an existing waterproof coating; 3) performing leak repairs; 4) recoating the interior reservoir tank as required by the City of Los Angeles Building and Fire Department; and 5) any other associated work described in the contract documents. The water tank repairs are to improve safety, operational efficiency, and comply with city fire codes.

The proposed project also consists of activities limited entirely to inspections, to check for performance of an operation, or quality, health, or safety of a project.
