Document Description
The purpose of the proposed dam failure detection instrument is to enhance DWR's capability to detect the breach or failure of Parish Camp Saddle Dam. The instrument should reduce detection time to minutes (rather than hours), allowing DWR to proceed to the verification and notification components of the EAP response. This instrument is a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) requirement.
