The project is a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) prepared by Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. on behalf of Marc J. Schirato/Trust (TRE) dated March 7, 2012. The Raw was developed to address soil impacted with Chlordane. The proposed action is excavation and removal of remaining chlordane-impacted soils immediately south of and adjacent to the Site to reduce the threat to human health and the environment and to provide a permanent solution that reduces the toxicity, mobility and volume of contaminated media.
