Document Description
Note: Extended per lead
The proposed Project entails regionalizing the treatment of wastewater for Midwestern Placer County. With the proposed Regional Project, this would be accomplished by taking off line Placer County's SMD1 WWTP on Joeger Road, (North Auburn), which currently discharges to Rock Creek, and Auburn's WWTP which discharges to upper Auburn Ravine. Instead, wastewater from these two areas would be sent via proposed pump stations at each facility and proposed pipelines to the existing trunk sewer collection system in Lincoln. The combined effluent would be treated at an expanded and upgraded Lincoln wastewater treatment and reclamation facility on Fiddyment Road, west of the City of Lincoln.
