- Document Description
- The District proposes to construct a potable water storage tank with a usable volume of 0.41 MG and a total capacity of 0.44 MG, on a 1.3-acre parcel. The proposed tank would be of prestressed concrete and have a flat roof, and would be mostly buried and built into the existing hillside. The height of the exposed face of the tank above the finished grade will range from 0 feet on the eastern side to approximately 8 feet on the western side. A Draft IS/MND was prepared and circulated for public review in 2012 for a 0.66 MG tank on this site. In response to public comments received on the 2012 Draft IS/MND and under the direction of the District Board of Directors, the District reevaluated the required capacity of the tank and refined the Project design. The refined Project designed is the subject of this Revised Draft IS/MND.
